User responsibilities
For officers
- Maintain valid SIA licensing and certifications
- Provide accurate and up-to-date profile information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Fulfill accepted shift commitments professionally
- Report any incidents or issues promptly
For agencies
- Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
- Ensure fair and timely payment of officers
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Comply with employment and labor laws
- Respect officer rights and working conditions
SIA compliance & UK regulations
SIA license requirements
All officers providing security services must hold a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license appropriate for the work being undertaken. ShiftTracker users agree to:
- —Maintain current and valid SIA licensing at all times when working
- —Immediately notify the platform of any license suspensions or revocations
- —Provide accurate SIA license details and expiry dates
- —Renew licenses in a timely manner to avoid gaps in authorization
- —Only accept assignments for which you hold the appropriate SIA license sector
Verification process
ShiftTracker reserves the right to verify SIA licenses with the Security Industry Authority at any time. False or fraudulent license information will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the SIA and relevant authorities.
UK employment law
All employment arrangements must comply with UK employment law, including but not limited to:
- —National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations
- —Working Time Regulations (maximum working hours, rest breaks)
- —Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- —Employment Rights Act 1996
- —Equality Act 2010 (anti-discrimination)
Payment terms
Monthly billing and annual billing options are available.No minimum term for month-to-month plans.Cancellation on 30 days' notice or at the end of the current billing period.Refunds are generally not provided except where required by law or a specific contract.
Final pricing is provided in a written quote or agreement.Any uptime commitments, response times, or support SLAs are only in separate written agreements.Additional services or features may be governed by plan-specific terms.
Liability and disclaimers
Platform liability
ShiftTracker acts as an intermediary platform connecting agencies and officers. We are not responsible for:

- —Employment disputes between agencies and officers
- —Workplace injuries or incidents during assignments
- —Compliance failures by individual users
- —Direct damages arising from platform use
Service availability
Service availability targets, support response times, and any SLA commitments are only provided where explicitly included in a separate written agreement.
Account termination
Voluntary termination
- —Users may terminate accounts at any time
- —30 days notice recommended for active assignments
- —Data export available upon request
- —No refunds for unused subscription periods
Involuntary termination
- —Violations of terms may result in suspension
- —Repeated policy breaches lead to termination
- —Fraudulent activity results in immediate closure
- —Appeal process available for disputed actions
